Some pretty sunflare I captured while in McCall for the Winter Carnival.

One of the products I offer (for more then just boudoir). These books are lovely! This is an 8×8, wonderfully sleek, classic gift to give to anyone!

I had a couple great boudoir sessions this weekend. However, I can’t show you any images from them yet as they are gifts and I don’t want to chance ruining their surprise! So, this is all you get for now!

For my readers interested in photography here’s a tutorial on a white balance contraption that I use. It allows for custom white balance and is extremely inexpensive compared to some other $80+ white balance products on the market.
It’s a clear Pringles lid with a circle cut out of a coffee filter and attached.
What you do is hold it up to your light source filling the camera frame, adjust to properly expose, snap the photo (you’ll need to do this on manual focus). Then follow your camera manual for custom white balance on your camera.
Here are the results, it works awesome & you can see has the best results!

With the Shade preset since I was inside, no lights on, next to a window:

You can also find my tutorial on MCP Actions Blog. Thanks Jodi!
Also, that beautiful (although hard to see in this photo) necklace is for my sister’s birthday and can be found HERE if you’d also like to get yourself one!
