It’s been a while since I’ve had a senior (as in high school senior) on my blog! I love shooting seniors and this senior knew how to work the camera with all of her natural gorgeousness. What a total sweetheart as well and someone who has her head in the right place. Mom and dad have every right to be uber proud! Have a wonderful Senior year Miss Natalie!

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010A perfect morning. I’m not kidding it really was. The temperature was perfect, the sunshine was out, we met at the Boise Train Depot overlooking the beautiful downtown Boise area and this family arrived with smiles spread across their faces ready for relaxed portraits. Perfect.
One super cool detail about this family is that they are from Michigan. I believe I exclaimed in my email, “OMG, I am too!” OF COURSE in a more refined business like manner (or maybe not).
One fun guy, one gorgeous lady, two little girls who love the camera and one little boy who made us work (but was so adorable you didn’t care) later and tada…a great family session was had!

Saturday, September 18th, 2010Casey & Eric…how do I adore thee…let me count the ways. There’s THIS awesome set of engagement photos to start with. They appreciate good wine. They are completely and totally adorable and in love. They have killer style. They laugh at my lame jokes. They have awesome friends and family. They are gorgeous people inside and out.
Casey & Eric’s wedding day started with some threatening gray skies and heavy clouds, but as I showed up at The Modern Hotel where the girls were busy getting ready, there was nothing but smiles and excitement in the room. Their wedding day was here!
Their first look was one of the sweetest moments ever. They just stared at each other, for the longest time taking it all in. You could see them fall in love all over again. I will not confirm, nor deny, that I may have been fighting some tears away myself.
The weather got better and better as the day went on and an absolutely wonderful wedding and rocking reception was had. Casey & Eric it has truly been a dream to work with you and get to know you. Enjoy your blog love!
They just stared at each other for the longest time, sooooo sweet and while I was capturing this…

Eric’s adorable son who was not believing anything I was telling him! lol

Gretchen getting Eric’s reactions

Loved, loved, loved their reception entrance!

Love this shot taken by Gretchen!

And this one taken by Gretchen!

The toasts were super funny and super sweet too.

Eric & Casey did a very touching toast to Casey’s father who passed away when Casey was in her late teens. He drank Jack, so they toasted with Jack and then broke out some rockin dance moves to one of his favorite songs, White Wedding.

Thank you guys for such an amazing time with you. Congratulations, I know you will live a long and happy life together!
