Over the weekend, I used a day alone to start a project in which I hope to use creative expression to, well, express myself. I’m not entirely sure where this project will lead or what I will ultimately do with it, but I need an outlet. To be as short as possible about the content this project will hold…I’ve dealt with a congenital heart defect my whole life and with that I’ve had to undergo a couple open heart surgeries. I’m facing a third open heart surgery and need a way to get through this time in my life. These images represent how I felt finding out.
