I may be a little biased since I’ve known these two kiddos since the oldest was an infant, but good genes or what!? A good looking family and great kids at that. We braved the cold, wet day and by “we” I really mean Devyn. She was a trooper with the least amount of clothes on of all of us and a true professional striking a pose. Woah, another blog post you say? Heck yeah I say! My second Michigan session just happens to be my beautiful sister and her family. I’m lucky to have this family in my life and I even had to brush up on my 5th grade English & Math (scary)! Thanks for letting me crash with you guys, I love you, enjoy your blog love!

My original session date with The S Family was rained out, so we met up last night at a gorgeous park in Boise and even ran into a herd of deer! Seriously, like 10 deer, complete with a buck and twin babies. It was pretty awesome to see and pretty crazy to run into that in the city. Thank you guys for meeting up with me last night! I met the adorable S Family last year about this time when I did a family session for them. I was so happy when they contacted me again this year to get some family shots. The day came and it was so nasty out. Heavy, dense, fog and rain. I felt for them, see last year on the day of their session Boise was having an inversion and it was cold! What luck, I thought two years in a row and they end up with bad weather. Well, luck was actually on our side that day and about two hours before our session, it all cleared up, blue skies came out and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon! This sweet family certainly deserved nice weather and hello, how cute is little Ryland!! Enjoy your blog love S Family!

You may recognize a couple of the people in the following photos and perhaps the last name as well. Each year, my father in law cons encourages me with dinner and yummy alcohol infused drinks to take Christmas card photos of him and his boys. It’s typically pure chaos with all boys (see where the drinks come into play, ha!) and then little Natalie gets thrown in the mix who protests the camera in her face YET AGAIN. I had to pull out the silly antics, which got some smiles and totally worth it to capture everyone together, especially those adorable little Montoya kids! Enjoy your blog love family!
