The day started out pretty interesting…windy, pouring rain and cold…hello spring! We almost rescheduled but crossed our fingers and went for it. It turned out that the one place in Boise it wasn’t pouring was our location. Rad! Although it did threaten us a few times, we made it through without getting wet and celebrated with a nice tall glass of barley mixed with quality client time. My favorite part of the session…meeting Henry, what a good puppy he was! He’s turned me, I want a Yorkie now!

When trying to figure out where Nick and Michelle wanted to have their engagement session, Michelle says, well we love our wine so how about a winery. Perfect! So I got on the phone and called up one of my favorite Idaho wines, Ste. Chapelle Winery, and although they close early on Fridays, sweet Mary was kind enough to give us permission to walk in and use the grounds. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was quite a weather adventure. We got rained on more then once, but powered through it and even messed around with some off camera lighting and captured a rainbow.

You’ll see this lovely couple again in the fall when I shoot their wedding in downtown Boise!

I know Cassie & Brandon have been patiently waiting for this sneak peek, it’s finally here! Cassie & Brandon were married at Ann Morrison park in Boise and moved over to The Penthouse at CW Moore Plaza, which is an awesome, gorgeous place for a wedding/reception. It’s probably my favorite, once that sunsets and over looking Boise, I’m not sure you can get much prettier!

Cassie & Brandon love to travel which made up their theme for their big day, along with a small “in the round” ceremony and awesome friends & family! Enjoy your blog love guys!

They chose to see each other prior to the wedding (highly recommend brides to be) and Brandon bought Cassie a strand of pearls!

What a gorgeous Wednesday for a wedding and a cool date 9/9/09. I had the opportunity to second shoot for the awesome Yan Photography again at Justin & Michele’s wedding. The wedding took place at the awesome Edwards Greenhouse, so eclectic!
