Love Like This | Boise Wedding Photographer
Monday, November 15th, 2010I know this is a highly anticipated blog post and I’m super happy to finally blog about it! I’ve known Nick since the beginnings of our collage days and have had the pleasure of getting to know Michelle over the last few years. Nick and Michelle are the kind of couple that when they are old and gray, will still be holding hands, dancing, embracing as tightly as they can, and genuinely just loving each other. I’m not kidding. Love like this doesn’t happen everyday. Anyone who has spent any time around them can see the passion they have for each other. They love deeply and I’m honored to call them my friends. Thank you Nick and Michelle for letting me share in your day as your friend and your photographer. I love you!

This is fun! Back in July I traveled up to Warm Lake, Idaho where Michelle’s family has a cabin on the lake. We did a boudoir session around the lake and IN the lake. We did up an album of Michelle’s favorite images to surprise Nick with on their wedding day. This is his reaction and it was soooo very awesome!

Outtakes rock, especially when set to motion!

Had to include this because this is SUCH a Michelle face!

So funny! When it came time for the rings, the best man “couldn’t find them” and it continued on down the line until the last grooms man produced them. They played the joke very well, just look at Nick’s face! lol

And because I love stop motion so much, you get two doses of it in one blog post! Love it Amber (and Amy)!

Let them eat cake! | Boise Wedding Photographer
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Katie and Tyler are married! What a gorgeous, 90 degree, October, day that started with a room full of equally gorgeous ladies getting ready at Hotel 43 in downtown Boise. Tears, laughs and nerves were all shared, but mostly lots of care and love. One of the sweetest moments was when Katie’s father saw his little girl as a bride (I’m not getting teary, I’m not getting teary).
The day moved on to the awesome Idaho Shakespeare Festival Amphitheater were Katie and Tyler saw each other for the first time and we had some serious fun with the awesomely small bridal party. An amazing time was had with a really great group of friends and family, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during toasts!
Katie and Tyler (and their friends and family) thank you so much for allowing me to capture your memories! Enjoy your blog post!
It’s HENRY!!!! Remember THIS shot. Henry showed up so we could do another one of those shots with wedding attire. He was soooo excited for his parents, it took us a few minutes to calm him down enough, but I knew we’d get it, he’s such a good boy! I see a Yorkie in my future!
