Let them eat cake! | Boise Wedding Photographer

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Katie and Tyler are married! What a gorgeous, 90 degree, October, day that started with a room full of equally gorgeous ladies getting ready at Hotel 43 in downtown Boise. Tears, laughs and nerves were all shared, but mostly lots of care and love. One of the sweetest moments was when Katie’s father saw his little girl as a bride (I’m not getting teary, I’m not getting teary).

The day moved on to the awesome Idaho Shakespeare Festival Amphitheater were Katie and Tyler saw each other for the first time and we had some serious fun with the awesomely small bridal party. An amazing time was had with a really great group of friends and family, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard during toasts!

Katie and Tyler (and their friends and family) thank you so much for allowing me to capture your memories! Enjoy your blog post!

Look at the tear line!!

It’s HENRY!!!! Remember THIS shot. Henry showed up so we could do another one of those shots with wedding attire. He was soooo excited for his parents, it took us a few minutes to calm him down enough, but I knew we’d get it, he’s such a good boy! I see a Yorkie in my future!

Rocks, bricks & grass – Boise Family Photographer

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

As soon as Zeke got out of the car, he spotted them. Without hesitation, he hurried over swooped down and scooped up the most perfect rock ever. Well at least the most perfect rock for that moment. With a smile that filled his face he proudly held up his rock exclaiming, rock! Armed with a bendable cow named Bob perched upon my lens, we got some adorable images!

Super Sweet family – Donnlley Idaho – Boise Family Photographer

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

I love this family. The last time sweet baby Cora was in front of my camera she was a newborn. Such a sweet baby girl and so happy. I headed up to Donnlley Idaho to do their session at their family cabin on the GORGEOUS Lake Cascade. It was such a nice day and it’s such a beautiful area for a photo shoot. I love living in a state where mountains are a part of the backdrop.

I know there’s a couple newlyweds who have been patiently waiting for this blog post! Tom & Cecilia’s wedding was held in downtown Boise at the CW Moore Park and their reception was held at the CW Moore Penthouse on a hot July Friday. It was a great day filled with their friends, family and lots of good emotions.

Thanks to the awesome Gretchen Nishitani for second shooting with me!

We walked a few blocks to the wedding location and how sweet it was to capture all of Cecilia’s emotions as she realized her day was happening.

Hello gorgeous!

Time for their first look!

Rock on to the guys and Gretchen for getting this shot.

LOVE!

How cute are they!

Congrats Tom & Cecilia!

Warm Lake Idaho – Boise Portrait Photographer

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

The end of June we took our first camping trip of the season to one of my favorite places in Idaho, Warm Lake. The Warm Lake area went up in massive flames almost two years ago exactly. It’s always a bit sad to see the damage but they did a good job of keeping as much as possible safe and it’s still a beautiful area.
